Description:
Traveling "faster
than the speed of light," Guests ascend the
ultimate runway of pulsating light, encounter meteor
showers, and travel through hyper-space. Space shuttles
penetrate the galactic atmosphere and shooting stars
are all around. Presented by Federal Express.
Space mountain has recently been completely upgraded
with a new stereo sound system in every seat! The
music adds a whole new dimension to the illusion.

Who to take on the ride:
Children should
be at least 40" tall and 3 years of age
to ride.
This ride is awesome one of the few to get
5 Mickey's (the music pushed the thrill to
5 Mickey point.) To add some added thrill
to the ride keep your sunglasses on causing
the inside to be completely black. Look for
the coolness rating to change on this and
all the other rides in Tomorrowland as Disneyland
rebuilds the new Tomorrowland and the expectations
get notched up a bracket
Factoids:
Space Mountain
is the first official ride of the New Tomorrowland
scheduled to open in the summer of 1998. It
was just so cool they couldn't wait!
